ᐈ This could be the fireworks of the future: more than 500 drones illuminate the night sky

They control themselves at a distance and change their training to the rhythm of the music.

Fireworks are the spectacle of lights preferred by many. They are usually the star of the festivities and gather thousands of people around the world to enjoy a few minutes of colors, lights and explosions. However, it may be that his era is coming to an end with the incorporation of technology.

For some years, city councils and communities around the world have begun to use 3D projections on facades, water sources and even mountains, a more expensive option than fireworks but more committed to the environment.

However, this show still does not get enough in the audience and usually comes with a few firecrackers and some fireworks that put the icing on the final trail. Although this could change with the arrival of drones.

The spectacles with illuminated drones are the new spectacles of lights, at least it seems that they will become the fireworks of the future. The company Intel is promoting this new exhibition and has already shown some videos in which you can see how the devices, controlled remotely, draw different shapes and figures in movement in the night sky.

Intel confirmed to Mashable that the show includes 500 drones designed specifically to offer an unforgettable light show. They are able to combine more than 4,000 million colors and fly in different formations depending on the rhythm of the music.

Last Monday at the Intel Global Summit in Phoenix (Arizona) there was a demonstration of what these drones are capable of, which have already been used in other shows like the Super Bowl or the Winter Olympic Games.
